This Privacy Policy explains how Tamar's App (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our iOS/Android apps and related services at tamar.gleichger.com.
1. Who we are
Tamar's App is a friend meeting scheduler. Contact: support@tamar.gleichger.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account identifiers: phone number and/or email address used to sign in with a one-time code (OTP).
- Profile: display name, optional handle, and app preferences (for example notification settings).
- Plans & groups: plan titles, dates/time windows, availability slots you mark, locked meeting times, group names, membership, and invite codes.
- Contact matching (optional): if you grant contacts permission, phone numbers from your device address book are hashed on your device with a server-provided pepper and sent as hashes only. We do not upload your raw contact list.
- Push tokens: device push tokens so we can send notifications you enable.
- Technical logs: basic server logs (for example IP address, timestamps, request paths) needed to operate and secure the service.
3. How we use information
- Create and authenticate your account
- Provide scheduling features (plans, groups, invites, overlap)
- Match friends who already use the app (when you opt in to contacts)
- Send push notifications related to plans and invites
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues
- Comply with law and store / platform requirements
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run the product:
- Other users you interact with: profile fields and plan/group content visible to members of those plans/groups.
- Service providers: infrastructure providers (for example hosting, database, and—when enabled—SMS/email delivery for OTP).
- Legal: when required by law or to protect users and the service.
5. Retention
We keep account and product data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data associated with it, except information we must retain for security, legal, or operational reasons (for example limited server logs).
6. Your choices & rights
- Update profile information in the app
- Turn notifications off in the app or device settings
- Deny or revoke contacts permission at any time
- Delete your account in the app or via the process at Account & Data Deletion

7. Children
Tamar's App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. See also our Child Safety Standards.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to our service (HTTPS, access controls, hashed contact matching). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in the country where our servers or providers operate. If that is outside your home country, we take steps consistent with applicable law.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Effective” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
